The verdict saw the Courts overturning the previous decision that was handed down to the colorful Italian billionaire originally. This action against the FIA was brought forward after he was banned from actively continuing his career and involvement in Formula One after being found guilty of race-fixing.

In brief, former Renault Team Boss Briatore’s appeal over his Lifetime F1 ban after the infamous Crashgate scandal was heard this week. Paris’ Tribune de Grande Instance indicated that a verdict will be announced on January 5th. Apparently, neither Briatore nor Pat Symonds were present on Tuesday for the hearing. In other news regarding Flavio’s Ex-team, Renault CEO Carlos Ghosn has stated in a recent interview with Forbes India Magazine, “F1 is one of the most-seen spectacles in the world,” he told Forbes.
