John Iley (Ex-Ferrari head of aerodynamics) has joined McLaren. He has assumed a similar role in his new team according to McLaren spokesman.
Iley parted company with Ferrari in July of 2009 after it had been apparent that there were fundamental deficiencies in the cars aero design which saw other teams such as Brawn GP and RedBull Racing pull out a huge advantage which proved too much to overcome.

Mercedes has announced Nico Rosberg as one of their drivers for next season. In confirming the signing, Mercedes finally has a German driver to man the first F1 car to bear the Mercedes GP name in decades. Rosberg, son of 1982 Formula 1 drivers Champion KeKe, is 24 years of age and has already spent four seasons in F1 with the Williams team. The former Brawn team still has a race seat available, and as reported here, there are rumors swirling that another German may be filling it.
